The Trico Changemakers Studio offers consulting and facilitation services to organizations, agencies and businesses in Calgary and across Alberta looking to deepen their understanding of systems change and social innovation and create greater social impact in our community.
Our diverse, creative team of facilitators, designers, researchers, and students work with organizations and multi-stakeholders collaboratives to understand and address complex social issues.
TRAINING + CAPACITY BUILDING
We offer training and workshops for organizations and multi-stakeholder collaboratives to develop an understanding of systems thinking and social innovation tools, approaches and methodologies. Workshops are customized to meet the needs and existing knowledge of each group and can vary in length from 3 hours to 3 days.
SOCIAL LABS
Social labs are an approach to addressing complex social, environmental, political and economic challenges. In a social lab, we use participatory design methods to bring together diverse stakeholders from across boundaries, backgrounds and lived experiences. Together, we dive into the patterns, structures, and mindsets that are contributing to a particular challenge. Creative methodologies are used to collectively generate new ideas and co-design solutions.
ENGAGEMENT
Our skilled facilitators are experienced in designing and facilitating meaningful experiences both virtually and in-person for groups ranging from six to hundreds of participants. We draw on a diverse toolbox and work to create safe and accountable spaces for generative dialogue, meaningful connection and impact.
