Impact Facilitation
The Trico Changemakers Studio offers consulting and facilitation services to organizations, agencies and businesses in Calgary and across Alberta looking to deepen their understanding of systems change and social innovation and create greater social impact in our community. Our diverse, creative team of facilitators, designers, researchers, and students work with organizations and multi-stakeholders collaboratives to understand and address complex social issues.

CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOPS
We offer workshops that support organizations and multi-stakeholder collaboratives to develop an understanding of systems thinking and social innovation. These workshops are customized to meet the needs and existing knowledge of each group and vary in length from three hours to three days.

SYSTEM MAPPING
Addressing complex issues means deepening our understanding of the systems we work in. A system map offers greater understanding and insight into a particular system, illuminating gaps as well as potential intervention or leverage points for change. In the mapping process we bring together stakeholders from across traditional boundaries who bring different lenses to the issue in order to co-create the map.

SOCIAL INNOVATION LABS
In this guided process, we identify a number of potential interventions and put these to the test through small prototypes and experiments. We bring together diverse stakeholders and individuals with lived experience to prototype, test, adapt and iterate on our ideas.

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
We are certified in the methodologies of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® to bring creativity and engagement to group processes. Based on visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning theories, LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® taps into the creative problem solving abilities of a group with hands on, serious play. The processes support both introverts and extroverts in elevating creativity and communication.
