Trico Changemakers Studio is pleased to announce Kevin Jesuino as our first Artist in Residence! Kevin will be working alongside the Trico Studio team for the next five months as part of the Artist as Changemaker (AAC) initiative.

The Artist as Changemaker program explores how we might build the capacity of artists to create meaningful social change. In this third year of the program, six artists and five organizations are working together for a second pilot of the Residency Program. Residency 2.0 will focus on the process of change and transformation, expanding on social innovation and systems change knowledge, and deepening relationships.

Kevin is part of the original artist cohort that helped to spearhead AAC. For the first residency, he participated in the capacity of artist facilitator, working alongside Lena Soots, Studio Director, to develop and deliver social innovation and systems change workshops. For Residency 2.0, we are honoured to invite Kevin to collaborate with the whole studio team, students, faculty and our community partners to investigate ways in which we can achieve transformational learning towards systems change within the constraints of a virtual setting.
